I can't remember the Dad but it was a pink I am so sure. LOL. I forgot to look when I took the picture.

Love the picture, she looks so pure against the background of borgenvillia.

That is a nice one for Golden Lady usually the second skirt does not fully descend. I like this one, I have several Golden Lady crosses.

Thanks all. I crossed her today with a seedling of Susie's. I forget the cross. I will check my emails later for I wrote the cross in one of them to Susie last week. I think it is a Euro pink from what I remember or at least brugs I was not familiar with. Maybe Texan pinks. LOL

The tendrils are not that long but she is so dark for how cold it has been here. Most things are blooming so light.

The brugs have gone by here but you can tell Susie's seedling is dark and very floriferous. I am hoping the babies will be double dark pinks but of course. LOL

WOW Kell..that is stunning -- love, love, love the flirty long tendrils. Beautiful form.

I have a sucessful cross going on Golden Lady too - it is GL X Adora - the pod is about 1 1/2" long now - fingers crossed.

I also have a BF X GL pod going. Can you tell how much I want a pink double??

I also did a cross of Vixen X GL but it has only been 5 days so too soon to know if it took or not.

Also.Kell - how is her size compared to Mama - is she petite? Are the flowers smaller as well or larger?

Absolutely beautiful, I never cease to be amazed, really pretty, I love the tiny white one, looks like some kind of exotic gardenia....

kell I love the Golden Lady, BUT that PINK is awsome

I have a seedpod on GL. I pollinated her with Isobella, I sure hope I keep the bud going but it is going to get cold here pretty soon and I will have to take a chance and dig her up, and put in a pot, she isn't very tall but she is wide, may have to cut some branches off.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Diane, I want to see your Vixen cross to GL. I bet you get dark orange ones. GL as Mom gives doubles easily, I wonder if as Dad she does too.
The above flower was sl. bigger but the one I am posting here was smaller.

Connie, I bet you get white doubles from that cross but the next generation may very well be PINK doubles if you cross it to a pink with 2 pink parents!!!

Doris, I bet she does great dug up. Cut her back a bit so the reduced roots can still support her. You are not going to let her go dormant, so you need to make sure you reduce the top about the same as the roots were reduced. Though I dug up a few last year and I didn't even cut the canopy back and they did not skip a beat.

Here is another bloom today on the same plant. Very Golden Lady like, even the color.
