Got some Cyclamen to brighten up the porch on Sunday - I just love them. There were just a few left over at the local garden centre, so I didn't have a lot of choice.
I'll probably have to bring them inside soon, but they look lovely in the sun right now.
Pics will be posted . . .

A colorful much appreciate feast for the eyes Marian! Ü
p.s. the last one I've looked at three times now! All are lovely but that pic of yours is stunning!!! Ü
Thanks a lot Lillypon.
I love it when they turn out well, because so many don't.
Cybercrone -- looking at your beautiful cyclamen, which I love as well, wondering if they were scented, but was wholly derailed when Lilypon referred to you as Marian.
Is it true????
Imagine my surprise
Marian
Hi Marian:
The Cyclamen don't seem to have much of a fragrance :-((
The white has a very faint tinge of scent, is all. What a shame.
Do they ever get scent later when they settle in? Probably that's kind of far fetched.
And unfortunately, I'm a Marilyn - but I'll still love you :-))
Hi Marilyn
I'll settle for love. :>)
Oddly enough I have found that some of them do have a fragrance that comes and goes, not with settling in so much but at certain times of the day. I used to work in a retail nursery and on my way home I wuld stop by the cyclamen table to see if anyone was worth taking home (using my nose of course!)
It was most often the dwarf knds and most often white that had some scent but occasionally a pink and also occasionally a mini. Sometimes though, they would have a scent say at lunch, and then when I went to check before taking it home, none at all.
or vice versa.
so don't give up hope!!!
M
sorry Marilyn!
Lovely Cyclamen. I like them too, but generally buy them during the colder months as houseplants and regularly kill them off. lol
The other flowers on your porch - are they Million Bells or larger? Hard to tell from the scale of the picture. I've bought ziolins of the Millions Bells - love them. they are so perky and grow just about anywhere. I've stuck them in hanging baskets or anywhere I needed a bit of color in the garden.
Ann
Yep, Million Bells - that rings a bell.
I put them there and they have hung in through neglect, renovations and all sorts of nonsense. Really pretty little things.
