Nice background, and nice plant.

Thanks zhinu. I haven't grown this before, but it overwintered fine, despite a colder season than normal here last year.
I've grown it against this gate, which has been painted to match the rest of the blue parts of the house. The unusual flower colour and the blue set each other off well don't they? :)

Very much so.

I was in Northern France this winter (early February), what part of France is Termes d'Armagnac in? It seemed like the UK was a lot colder, but that could have just been because we got snowed on most the time we were in the UK and it was niceish in France. On, the other hand while we were getting snowed on over there, here they had record hot weather; it was good for my plants.

I'm down in the south west zhinu, so it's very different from the UK
Having said that, we had record cold weather and it even snowed - though it didn't settle - last winter. The Pyrenées are only an hour away so we have guaranteed snow in winter whenever we want it, without the hastle of living in it ;o)
