holiday recipes your favorite

hi everyone i know what you are thinking(it's too early to think about the holidays) but it isent but like 2 months away from thanksgiving. well i wanted to share some easy recipes that my mom and sister and me do together to eat/give away as gift and wanted to know if anyone else had some that was just as good or better,we get together every year and make a bunch of treats and bread for the holidays please share yours i would love to try some new ones to add to our collection. thxs

peanutbutter balls:
1-1lb. jar of peanutbutter (creamy or crunchy your choice)
1/2 lb. butter ot margarine
1 1/2 boxes confectioners sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 block paraffin wax
mix peanutbutter ,margarine and confectioners sugar together until creamy like. and make into what ever size balls you want(bite size,or bigger).melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax together on stove and when melted dip the "balls" into chocolate and let cool.
very easy recipe and everyone loves them here.

this is a new one for us this year but cant wait to try it anyone that loves snickers will love this one looks very easy too

snickers santa surprise cookie:

1(8oz.) tube refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
18 snickers minis unwrapped
1(16oz.) container vanilla frosting
red & green food coloring
1. divide the dough into 1-tablespoon pieces and flatten
2. place a snickers mini in the center of each piece of dough
3. form the dough into a ball around each snicker mini
4. place on a non-stick sheet & bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 10-12 minutes,until golden brown
5. let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes & then move them to a baking rack or waxed paper to cool completly
6. divide the frosting into 2 bowls.tint one bowl green and the other red. place the frosting into seperate re-sealable bags.snip off a corner from each bag & drizzle the cookies with frosting.
makes: 18 cookies
