Hello!
I have been a member here for quite a while, but on the quiet side. I thought maybe I ought to be a bit more chatty! I have admired all of your photo's of butterflys, and hummers, they are lovely! I thought maybe I would start posting some of my pictures too. It is to bad the season is just about, if not over. I love the challenge of the hummingbirds.
Thanks
Candy
Hi Everyone
I stop in time to time to see what happenings there are in butterfly & humming bird world. Your photo is so vivid, great shot!
Is that a penta or milkweed in your beautiful shot?
Thanks,
Maggie
Thank you Merigold.
Margaran, It is a seedum (sp) of some kind. My husband plants the gardens, and I help. I really dont get to involved in the planning, he does such a good job of it, but this year I was much more active with them. I got Million Bells, and also, 3 butterfly bushes. I just got them planted. Next year though, I am going to have a ton of annuals.
Thanks again!
Candy

Candy, Glad you decided to post. I see this B'Fly is also on sedum. Wait until your B'fly bushes are in bloom next August. You will be impressed at the number of B'Flies they attract.
I've only been here a few months and I can tell you that posting really enhances the experience.
Nice pics too.

Hi Andy,
Thanks, and I did get some butterfly bushes and planted them in the fall, and the few monarchs that were left found them. I was very pleased. Hopefully they will grow much better next year. Your so right on the posting, I do enjoy it alot.
Again thank you
Candy
