The brugs are going back to the greenhouse tomorrow. I do have to wonder about this - 16 weeks with me; 36 at the greenhouse. There is something wrong with that picture.
I was marveling at the length of time we have had this year without frost - 141 days and counting. So I went looking for data and was surprised to learn that our average is 138 (more than i would have thought). And poor old resolute bay is the worst - 10 days. Average last frost July 10 average first frost July 20. Now that represents a gardening CHALLENGE!
brugs moving tomorrow
Maybe, you could build a greenhouse over your entire yard. Then you could do a butterfly world kind of thing, and have plants out all year round. Of course you'd have to have some extra help,( insert the image of your dream date here) You'd probably never want to back outside to an Edmonton winter with a set up like that. Imagine Brugs 10' tall, Bananas, Orchids, plumerias and flamingos and koi in the stream you put in this summer.
Can you tell I'm sleep deprived...
hmm... I wonder if Linda is being trained by Cooper. or..... isn't it supposed to be the other way around??? Cut back with liquids aftr 8pm. Treat him like a baby because that is what he is.

All you have to do is to install a geothermal heating system. Oh, I forgot, you are in Alberta, land of oil.
I was just about to do this at the farm in Ont. until muttering started about 407 highway. Thank goodness I didn't.
Quite a few installations around here in Manitoba.
