Thanks to the generosity of friends such as Rylaff and Jerrodsmom and Dennis, I have been able to accumulate some lovely and uncommon tropicals again.
We had a tremendous rain storm in the spring of 2003, where it rained for three weeks straight and the flooding was a record breaker for our area. Since all my plants are grown in containers, sadly, 80% were lost to root rot, because I was unable to move them to a protected area.
I was fortunate to find a few desirable plants at a couple of nurseries and box stores. I lost quite a few brugs that Cala had given me years ago, so am content to have the ones Dennis sent me. You all are the best gardening friends a girl ever had, and I appreciate all of you!
