Variegated Spider Plant babies

I have a whole bunch of these. Have given some to people around here. Do these things travel well in a bubble envelope? Does anybody want some? Seems such a waste to throw them away.

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

Hi Quyen :)

They do great in bubble envelopes. I just got one last week and it was fine.

Thanks for letting me know, Eric.

So, the question now is...

Does anybody want baby Variegated Spider Plants? They're yours for SASE. I think the 6" x 9" bubble envelopes should work fine.

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

Hi Quyen :)

By chance, could I possibly get a couple of the babies, please? I would like to fix a pot for my MIL. Thanks!!

Laurens, SC(Zone 8a)

I have quite a few of these too if Quyen runs out! hehehe Bonnie

I have some of my babies planted in the ground at the base of a tree and they are doing very well there. Will have to see if they make it overWinter outside or not. Will be bringing the hanging basket full inside for Winter though.

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

Hi Bonnie :)

I don't think Quyen is going to run out anytime soon...lol Not a lot of people are jumping in for them. Please let me know if they overwinter.

Will try to remember! hehehe Bonnie

Springville, AL(Zone 7a)

Eric...you will have to bring them in for the winter. They will freeze and die if they get to cold!!
Trust me!! I know from experience!! LOL

I would like to have one for a bubbled SASE. I can send one tomorrow if any offers still are available and I knew your addy.

Sunshine: you have d-mail.

Quyen,

Quick question...can the spider plants be planted with more than 1 per pot? Thanks,

Eric

Culpeper, VA(Zone 7a)

Definitely. When potting up babies I always put 3 per hanging basket initially, as they're very easy to separate for repotting once they get to large for their basket.

Lamar, AR(Zone 7a)

Because I have so many, I plant mine in the ground. They survive the winters here, foliage dies back, but springs to life come spring

Mars Hill, NC(Zone 6a)

Hi.
I would like some also. Will send shipping necessities.

Judy, you have d-mail.

Vieques, PR(Zone 11)

Quyen,

Do you still have any of the spider babies available?

Karen

Orange, CA(Zone 10b)

Yes, I still have some, Karen. D-mail me, please.

Laurens, SC(Zone 8a)

Karen--I have some too and since I already need to mail your ears why not include a few?? In fact I have a couple that I had planted in the ground this Summer. I am led to believe they will not survive in the ground over winter so I will send them to you? Ok? They are each now large enough to fill a small hanging plant by themselves--with runners and all!! Bonnie

Bonnie,

That is sweet of you.

I can see another package coming your way :)))))
