I'm so excited about my finding today. All I need now is the watermelon one or the ant one and I'll be a happy camper...lol.

DISCHIDIA RUSCIFOLIA - Million Hearts
What a beautiful Dischidia, Donna. One of my favorites!!!
The 'watermelon one' is D. ovata and there are actually 3 (or 4?) different clones...all similar but very different. I love them!!! I grow all three in the same pot and they look good together!!!
Dischidias are special and I am becoming more and more fond of them...
Carol
Thanks, Carol. One day I'll find me some watermelon ones.

That million hearts is a beauty !! One of my favorite dischidias. The dischidia pectinoides is a nice one. I love the little pillows it makes. So many favorites and so little room!!
You have the dischidia pectinoides? Ooooh do you have a piece that I could trade you for???
:) Donna
You will like the dischidia pectinoides. Mine has been blooming all summer. They are easy to grow. They are viney compared to the million hearts.
Sounds like a keeper!

Nice find!
Your'e really coming up with some good ones, lately!
I had that once (the 'million hearts') and it became infested with mealies.....warning! Don't use the alcohol spray on that plant for mealy bug control......it gradually declined to such a bad state that I had to discard it!!
Thanks, Nan. I know....lol! I really work hard in finding them to.
Thanks, Susan. I wonder why it would have changed colors unless it's lacking something maybe?
:) Donna
How do you do it, Donna?
Do you go 'plant shopping' often?
(I did for a while...but that got me in trouble!) lol!!
When my son was in treatment we were visiting a large city every 2 weeks. He didn't really want me hanging around watching him, so I'd go and visit the nurseries.
Going every 2 weeks, I always ran into something new...it was fun....while it lasted, and it got my mind off things!
