Me too! Postage will go out on Monday! Thanks so much! Wow they are beautiful! Will they grow in crummy soil? LOL I have a spot I can't seem to get anything to take hold...it doesn't seem to matter how much soil I put in this spot, it washes and just is hard as rock almost...either way...I do want this plant and can find a spot for it! Thanks so much!

Good morning everyone,
Looks like the thread is closed :-) all 3 of you will get a full box with bareroot Jerusalems artichoke.
They are very tall in my 3 spots where I am growing them just wonderful but I need the space for daylilies.I am keeping one area.

Staci, yes I will have to cut them back to bareroot of course because of their height .They grow 6-8 FEET in my gardens ; plus they are just going by so they need to be cut back anyway.
After I receive postage is that I usually send the next day or day after depending on my other life :-)

The way I send bareroot roses,DL or Perennials is that they are FRESHLY dug by me,rinsed off, wrapped in wet papertowels, roots wrapped in plastic, tagged, boxed,PO.Then after I get back I post the Del.Confirmation # so nothing can go wrong.

Janet,I don't know if they grow in "crummy" soil because I am pretty lucky because we live on a old Farmstead and the soil is good to great.BUT in 2 of my places the soil is not so hot and they do just fine.Have to admit these never get fertilized and bloom and bloom.

Diana, are you planning to pickle them as well ? have never eaten them myself but heard about them beeing edible.

My address is in the address exchange, will post when postage arrives and box is sent .
Have a good sunday,

Brigitte,
You have a great day too! Thanks so much for sharing! I know I will enjoy them for years to come and I have a great spot for them as well. I always amend the soil here, but some places seem to just suck the good stuff up..I guess..LOL I will get the postage out to you in the AM.
Bless you!

Brigitte,
I would like to try to pickle them one day yes...just to see if I can capture that childhood taste. I remember eating them raw too, I was oh so small back then! Not even in school yet. Haven't had any since, this is going to be so cool, lol! Plus the flowers are pretty too. I'm going to plant these in the back of the veggie garden where they'll benefit from the good soil there.

Thank you so much :)

Can't wait! Thanks so much! If I get all of what I have now planted, it will be a miracle! Why is it we can't pass by seeds or "Sale" plants without buying something else when we have so much already...addiction! I saw some of these by the road in a rural area, at least I assumed that it was the same thing, they were beautiful! At least six feet tall and the flowers were large and abundant! Can't wait to see them bloom in my garden.

Janet,
GOSH I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT you mean,I have soo many Daylilies and roses and a few perennials ( it's not funny any more ) myself to plant before it gets too cold.

Alot has gone dormant already i.e.some of the Jerusalems artichoke as well.It depended where in the garden they are growing.
