New bug for me any ideas please?

Hi all
This silly bug is driving me nuts and now that I have a camera I can get a photo. It hides in the flowers and I keep bringing them inside. Does anyone know what it is and should I be worried?

Ann, Is it really a fast mover?

It can be and it seems to be two tone brown and greenish. It has two long antenne . It kinds of skitters about.
I'm not sure if it is doing damage but it really likes my bee balm and the iris flowers. Any clues?

Ann, I think its a true bug, something like a tarnished plant bug maybe.

Thankyou I have taken a quick look at this site and I will need to spend some time on it . It has some very interesting bugs. I did find out what a catapiller was that has been hanging around.
I have to look harder for my bug.

echoes .. you are right it is a tarnished plant bug. I have found it in a book about alberta bugs.
