That is a great pic!

I have never seen or heard of that kind of flower. Does it do well up north? The picture is really pretty!

Candy, I am afraid that the Bottlebrush plant will only grow in very mild climates. It is widely grown in Florida and southern Georgia. It is very deer resistant. I have seen plants up to 15 feet high. It blooms heavily in the spring, but continues to bloom sporadically throughout the summer and fall. The following picture is of a well established Bottlebrush in Savannah blooming in the spring. It really attracts many butterflies.

It most certainly is beautiful! Thanks for posting the other picture.

Bottlebrush is a native to Australia. So I dont imagine it would do well at all in any Climate that got close to freezing in the winter. Is pretty though. =)

Savannah, GA

Here in Savannah, we can have several freezes down to the low twenties or upper teens each winter. The Bottlebrush here seem to grow well in these conditions with no cold damage, but I don't think they could take much more cold than what we have in Savannah.
