Sdlg: Gypsy Queen x Jean Pasko 1st. bloom...

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

Seedling started in April 2004...over 6' tall and has first bloom...seed from poppysue...I like it, but do not find it much different from other brugs.

A question...how do you go about destroying a 6' brug just because it doesn't make the cut? It is still beautiful! Is there a place in the world for a brug such as this? Personally I don't think I can destroy it. I don't know what the answer is...just maybe I am wondering if I shouldn't even grow seeds....what do you think?

I "think" even if it doesn't make the cut, you can keep it to grow right? I think it would be forever called Gypsy Queen x Jean Pasko and you can keep it without naming it or something like that.

I think the color is pretty :)

Took me 3 or maybe it was 4 years to kill my first seedlings Margie. And then I let my husband go for it. Every year I said I was going to do it and I finally did. When brugs over grow your whole life, it gets easier.

Though this year I have a bunch from 2 years ago that have to go and a friend is donating them all to a school yard. I keep telling her to tell them they are poisonous. She says she has. She has told me they will be in a locked garden setting.

GOOD LUCK, I know it is so hard at first.
