..which one should I get? Or is amount of blooms directly related to how I care for it, soil conditions, etc.
Fragrance is less important. Pink color would be nice. thanks.
If I want a brug that is a prolific bloomer...
Frosty Pink is one I found that is easy to get to bloom and not fussy. I think proper care and soil conditions will always help, but some are easier to get to bloom than others, that's for sure.
I'm sure the experts can recommend some great pink varieties. :)
isabella is great i think...
Hi Vossner!!
Partly it depends on the care and feeding but also has to do with genetics. Some are just prolific bloomers. They bloom early and often. I think that is why Frosty is so popular. She is a dependable bloomer. Rosamond also blooms like crazy for me. I have others but they are not readily available yet. Oh Butterfly is a little darker pink and it goes nuts too. I have a huge Rosabelle that is on its 3rd flush this summer and is just covered in blooms. Some seem to always have blooms and others go in flushes. Covered in blooms for a few weeks then none for awhile as it rests .
Kell,
Can you name names, a few that are readily available and are dependable bloomers. I know of only one so far. My Creamsickle has had 1 flush this year, but she seems to have blooms most of the time. I got her as a cutting in April. I would love to have a list for easy reference. Well, 2 lists: one of Brugs that are always in bloom and one of Brugs that produce dependable flushes. Or maybe you know of a website that has that information. Thanks.
