Hi,
I think I'll live now.....I found an Angel's Trumpet at Home Depot in Tucson today!
I was on a hunt.....I wanted to get a fix at the nursery in Home Depot! Boy, did I! It was the only one there.....as I was checking out the lady behind me in line said, " I have one of those", so we started talking......I gave her Daves web-site......so hope she gets online with the site.
It is creamy colored with pink on the edges.......which one is it? No name other than a Brug......
My old one looks so pitiful now, but maybe "Madelyn" will come back to life now. She has new leaves, but still looks awful......
Going on a trip this weekend to visit relatives in the cool country to celebrate a few of our birthdays........will check back on Monday......
I'll take a picture when I think it looks really "picture perfect"

New Brug
Cool - I've never seen one at Home Depot. Hope they start to carry them more often.
If you post a photo you will be more likely to find out what kind. There are HUNDREDS of different crosses!! Bonnie
I picked up three !!!!!! at my HD a couple of weeks ago. There were only the three and did I guard the dolly or what while looking for more goodies!!!???!!! All three are about 40-48" and have bloomed constantly. These were marked "WHITE". BUT.... They open light yellow, go to white, then pink and white, then light coralish pink, and darker coral as they age. I've taken pictures but have to find the time to get them posted. From what I'm reading on the forum it may be nearly impossible to ID them but surely would love to get an ID. If not, oh well, cuttings will make great starter Brugs for friends who are dieing to get started. BTW... this incredible find has caused me to make more stops by HD than I should...just can't seem to get out of there without bringing too much home. geekgranny (I'm sw of Dallas, TX)
Sorry I've been so busy I've neglected my favorite site! My Brug is hanging in there.......so I'm still hopeful. Our gourds have gone bananas......we were standing on the spa steps one morning and Mike pointed to the awning cover on the patio.....lo and behold there are 4 maybe 5 huge gourds growing on the awning! I'm sending off a picture. I just finished painting a Kokopeli birdhouse gourd for a friend, so now I can hardly wait until these big ones dry, I bet they have ridges on them from the awning. Mayb prove interesting! Hope you can see it in the picture I'm posting.
I can and it is amazing!!! Do you have a picture of your Kokopeli birdhouse gourd ? How great you can do these. I bet gourds are so much fun to grow. And do they do all this growing in one season? Are they annuals?
How is your new brug doing? I wonder if it is a Frosty. My HD and Lowes sell a lot of Charles Grimaldi, Frosties and white suavs. I always get a kick when I see them there. And they are not inexpensive either!
lol, for a moment there, i thought, "wow, giant pod."
i did see 3 brugs at OSH recently, but no tags yet, not even on the selling floor yet. i feel silly sometimes venturing to the off limits zone of the store...
