trying to find a tree called Acacia Baileyana Purpurea
Frequently sold here in So California- most larger nurseries carry it. Not sure where to get it on line, though. I got one just a few months ago at a nursery down the street... nice little tree, but don't let it dry out in the pot (lost one before thinking since they were drought tolerant you didn't have to water them all the time- dead in 4 days). I almost let that happen to this one, but got it in the ground in time and now doing well... great turquiose itty bitty leaves that fade to a dark, weird grey-purple later on.
thanks for the info Palmbob. i will see what i can come up with if i google CA nurseries. i've already googled the plant name and no sellers and there isn't one on Dave's either. the next time you see one at a nursery, if you wouldn't mind inquiring i would be grateful. thanks, debi
