HAVE: Orchids

Kylertown, PA(Zone 5b)

I have a keiki off of my Phalaenopsis pallens that is in active growth and has been growing in the same pot for well over a year. In fact, it's sending up flower stalks right now.

I also have a smallish division of my clone of Paph. Lady Light that I have been growing on for over a year. I just repotted it today. I can send a picture of the plant in the pot if you like.

I am looking for other small or seedling orchids-- would really like a cutting of vanilla orchid. Also interested in newer, named tet daylilies or space age iris.

Could either of you give ame a site thath would be good for beginners and orchids. I adore the flowers but I'm a little intimidated by the plant. They look so very fragile and high maintance.

Just do a Google search.

Orchids aren't hard, but I have killed a few. The Phalaenopsis above would be easier than the Paph.

I love that! They are so pretty. I've only had one - it's dead now....

Got it at the GA roundup. When it started failing I tied it to my banana tree in the shade on my front porch. Made sure it had water and it died anyway..

Sorry! Off the subject but I just love Orchids even though they don't seem to like me.
