Well, after following Snickets babies, and getting all lovey over the babies, and getting kitten withdrawals, I swore I did NOT want another cat/kitten. Four is enough, we are managing fine, they are healthy and up on their shots....ya'll know that routine!
Well, apparently someone else had other ideas. I was having a restless night, and I was up reading when "out on the porch there arose such a clatter" so I sprang of the couch to see whats the matter...and what to the ringing in my little ears did I hear...but "mew mew mew"
SO, I looked for Daisy, she was passed out cold on the couch....but awake quite rapidly when she too heard "mew mew mew" So I got brave and went out on the porch, and here it comes....running...full speed at me...mew mew mew.....and dang near crawls up my jeans leg!
Of course I swear....then I saw, Oh man, DH is gonna KILL me! Then I bring it inside....against my better judgement of course. I sit on the couch thinking "what am I gonna do with you?" when he leaps down and runs straight to the kitchen...and to the food. I go out to observe and he is eating like its been days. I figure he he about 11 or 12 weeks old. Quite the frisky little guy too. His feet are so black I couldn't believe it, and his white furr is so gray with dirt. He had a bath early afternoon, did very well with it...no signs of fleas thankfully but definately has a "worm" belly.
I posted yesterday about the tuxedo cats, and mentioned in there we had all kinds but not the orange right now, we had lost our lovely Autumn Rose, well of course this little guy is a pumpkin orange with white chest.
DH says NO more male cats til Daisy gets fixed....I "should" have a few months with this little guy being tiny and can get moving on Daisy getting fixed....but I really really dont want another kitten.....right?
No name yet. Shane likes Rusty, Shannon wants Pumkin, and DH wants "The neigbors cat!" I have no ideas! Here is his after bath picture, you can see his feet are still filthy!
