Right now we are feeling the effects of hurricane Ophelia.It is raining quite hard and there are wind gusts.They are not very strong but they are gusts neverthe less.I just looked out my kitchen window and was amazed to see hummers at the feeders.Every time a gust would come they were blown backwards but came right back again.The other birds don't seem to mind either.They are all eating as if there were no tomarrow.

Guess they knew the storm would linger longer than we thought, and better eat while they could!
Hummingbirds never cease to amaze me with their resilience. I hope they will be safe
