CLOSED: Hardy hibiscus seeds-anybody want them?

I still have lots of hardy hibiscus seeds if anybody is interested in them. Just send a sase!

Yes, I would love to try some. I started a few from seed last year, and they did not come up thi s spring. I'm still hoping to grow some from seed that over-winter. I'll get an envelope out in the next day or so. Thanks!!

Our hibiscus here in Ohio have been spectacular this year. Where are the seeds on this plant? I'd like to snag some from the beautiful pink ones at Arby's, LOL!

Hello...have enough for everybody! Janie..I'm in z5 and mine come back bigger every year...the seed pods are where the flowers were and you can't miss them! They are about as big around as a golfball and when ready they split open into a star shape. Actually they are pretty too. I finished removing all the seeds yesterday otherwise i'd get a pic for you. :)

Forgot about one that had spiderweb so I didn't remove it..here is a seed pod!

Why dont they all make seed pods after the flowers have fallen off? I have only gotten 2 pods off of mine this year hmmmmm Whats the secret??
They are sooo pretty I love mine and I think it might be my favorite flower I have so far!

G-in G...hhmmmm...thats strange ...I have four plants and must have gotten 40-50 pods. My plants are approximately 5 foot tall..this is their third year. Will gladly send you some!

If you don't have enough bees to do ur pollinating, you can take a cotton swab and dip pollen from flower to flower. Should get u more pods, I would think.

I feel like I must have had a beehive here LOL ! Never thought of that. :)

breeze ! got the seeds today - thanks so much! You're very generous! I can't wait to get these planted - I wonder if I plant some in containers and keep them in the greenhouse this winter if I would get some blooms next year? I think I may try a few and see!
