yes, please be specific! almost everything these days is butterfly this or hummer that! Gotta love 'em though!

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

I'm not sure of the name...sorry...but it has the small bright red flowers and green lacy (for lack of a better word) vines/foliage. And it self seeds every season. My g-mother used to have it and all I've ever heard it called was hummingbird vine

After checking the PF's...It is the Cypress Vine (Ipomoea quamoclit). Does anyone have any seeds?

Moretz,

Would you be interested in trading or could i send you a SASE? I have Rose Campion seeds and Schlumbergera "X-mas Fantasy" (salmon colored) cuttings if you're interested. I'd appreciate it :)

Thanks,
Eric

could you tell me what the Schlumbergera "X-mas Fantasy" (salmon colored) cuttings looks like? plmk and thxs

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

It's supposed to be a Christmas Cactus, but this bloomed about Thanksgiving. Going by the leaf shape, its a TG cactus.
BTW...please ignore my ignorance but what does "plmk" mean?

plmk= please let me know

are these easy to root? i would love to trade but i dont think seeds for cuttings is fare do you? plmk (LOL)

Graham, NC(Zone 8a)

They're real easy to root. Just let them harden off for a couple of days, then pot on in a free draining soil (you can use rooting compound or not...I've done both ways), wait about a week or so, then water. If its ok with you, we can trade as thats about all I can trade with at the moment. plmk...lol

Sue. do you mean that a cypress vine also has a white vareity? Do you have any extra seeds?

west Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Keep in mind this is truly an "heirloom plant". THat means your heirs will be picking it out of the garden for years! LOL It's a real prolific reseeder around here! I'm still pulling it out from 7 years ago!
