Is it getting too cold?

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I acquired a plant a couple of months ago which may or may not be an orchid cactus - if it is it was certainly neglected severely I think; however it is certainly wierd and wonderful and since I hung it in my east back porch window it has had one flower and another coming. But I notice that the porch temp went down to about 10 C last night (we had a slight frost in the part of the city where I live) and I am wondering if that is getting too cold for the plant and if I should bring it into the house.?
(I dont have a pic of the flower - just got a digital camera last week)

Thanks for your advice.

Bring it in... they won't withstand frost.

What about those of us in Illinois? When should WE bring them in?
It'll be a while before frost but what about when it gets into the 40's?

I bring mine inside when nights get to the low 40's.

It is not outside - but in an enclosed porch facing east so it is quite warm during the day. It wont drop down to freezing in the porch for quite a while yet.

I bring my epi's in the low 40's. I don't take a chance on them freezing. That is a nice plant. It will be interesting to see what the flower looks like,

Did you ever get a picture of the bloom? If you did I would love to see it.
It looks like a bud on there, red maybe?
