How to protect raspberry from wasps?

Jamison, PA(Zone 6a)

We did not have problems with summer crop but they are eating our fall crop now. I have two years old son and do not want to spray anything dangerous. Thanks!

Perhaps row cover material may help?

Earlier in the season the nests have fewer inhabitants and there are lots more larvae to feed on. When they're done protecting your plants from caterpillar damage, they go off in search of dessert. (Your raspberries.)

Thank you, Wayne. I will try it.
