Here is the first bloom of a seedling that Kauffman hybridized and sent to me. It really likes the cool weather we have been having in the morning. This photo washed out the color a bit but I like it because you can see that this is a bud making machine! Is this normal for seedlings? My cuttings gave me one flower at first.. then two later.. then finally got up to flush.. this one is going to give me a flush within the month!

Just one more thing.. I know people have said that Gretchen is really been busy but I am concerned once more. Esp since she doesn't really list where she lives and zone 8 could be down there where Katrina went through.
Jazzpunkin, I live just a few miles from Gretchen. I live in South Texas, so, luckily, we were nowhere near the hurricane. I haven't heard much from Gretchen either, so am not sure just what she is doing, but, hopefully, all is well. By the way, I love the color of your brug. I'm partial to the pale pinks.

I sent him a pic of Isabella but apparently the buds on his seedling got lost somewhere and I am afraid to show him how great mine is doing. Afraid he will give up! lol
