They do not only need donations but also things like towels & blankets, food, grooming supplies, treats, toys and so much more. Instead of giving your money or donations to some shady rescue groups you don't know much about, please take a look at this first...
There is no national SPCA and all SPCA’s are independent. Not all SPCA’s and humane societies are helping with relief efforts and not all are taking in animals from the afflicted areas. If you are going to make a donation to an animal organization please do some research to confirm that they are helping with relief efforts.
