I found a lump on Ginger's neck a couple of weeks ago. I didn't bring her to the vet until Saturday. I think I was dreading the worst. My vet said she looked great, weight is great. She thinks the lump is only a cyst and she drew some fluid. Sigh of relief. After having her neck shaved and poked for the lump she didn't want another needle for the blood test. The tech who was holding Ginger kept kissing her on her head. Then they rolled her over to get the blood from her leg. The tech said, she just wanted us to see her curly belly.
My vet left me a message today, Ginger's blood work is perfect and she very happy with the diabetes control. Another sigh of relief. I'm so glad her diabetes is under control. I've said it before, my vet Linda is a wonderful person. She apologized to Ginger for sticking her twice.
