texas hot house

Texas/Okla central b, United States(Zone 7b)

I would like any knowledge I can glean about green housing in North Texas....total novice, but want one just the same

Jackie,
Welcome to the forum. Have you looked at the Greenhouse forum? I live in central Texas, Zone 8b. I have 2 greenhouses and wouldn't mind sharing my experiences with my greenhouses if you'd like. My summers last longer, but I would think that your summers are just as hot. The greatest difference would be winter.

And the wind, lol. Isn't that part of TX windy?

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

Suzi,
This part of Texas is windy. The area is relatively flat and no highrises to block the wind.

Is there any part of TX without wind? I thought for sure you guys would not have much!! I was wrong!
