I got an dmail for ma vie yesterday and other today.she is still homeless and is hoping to move to Texas.

Oh my! I was so hoping she had found a place to live by now.
If you hear from her again please tell her everyone at DG is thinking of her.

Are you saying that ma vie is no longer living where she was ? Where is she now...she cannot be on the streets? I don't understand....Can anyone help me?

I just heard from Meiyu that Ma Vie has a broken van so she can't move to Texas. I do not know if she is living out of her van. If she is, maybe we could all put in a few dollars and send her money to fix her van.

I would sure be willing to help her out! Is there someplace we could send the money to, kell ? Let us know please!

I know that she has health problems too...that would be very difficult to take care of from a van.

Where will she go in Texas? Does she have family?

I would love to help her out. Does Meiyu know how to reach her?

I am not in touch with her, Margie. We lost touch when my Mom was ill. Meiyu has been trying to find her and I was giving her some leads. I know Meiyu wants to help her out too. It looks like Elva is in touch.

So Elva, is she living out of her van? I understand she is trying to get to your town, Premont. Is there a way we could coordinate funds to help her out a bit?

Ma Vie has emailed me thru Dave's today after I posted earlier. I will direct her to here and ask her for ideas on how we can help.

She is in need of a place to live till she figures out how to support herself or can qualify for more aid than she is getting. I do not think Texas is going to work out from what she has said to me. Unfortunately, it seems she needs long term help and I just do not know how to help her with that. She needs a place to live and money to live on.

I am sure a little extra cash would help for the short term but she really needs long term aide and more cash than we could raise I am sure.

Is anyone a social worker from the LA area that would know the system and how she can get lots of help? She and her friend are getting some help but not near enough.

kell, I think you should start another thread on this subject to draw more attention.

When you figure out how we can donated something or other let us know.
