My Cats of Yesteryear/Gone But Not Forgotten

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

Sharing in all of your kitty pictures, in particular, Snickets and her babies, has got me recalling all of the dear old cats of my past. I thought i would share a few pictures with you and a short story with each one. I've had quite a few more than the ones I am posting, but they went on to new homes. The following were the lovecats of my life.

We had every kind of pet you could think of when i was growing up-except cats. My dad wouldn't allow us to have cats, even in the barn (the way he was raised), so i didn't get my first cat until after i was married. The cat lasted 15 yrs. longer than the husband. LOL

This is Maggie Mae Goldfarb. People would ask me so often if she was named after Rod's first big hit, which she was, that i gave her a last name and i would reply that no, she was a Goldfarb from the very prestigious Goldfarbs of New York. LOL
