CLOSED: WILL HAVE: Nicotiana Mutabilis

Eureka, CA

Hi... will be harvesting within the month or so seeds for the Nicotiana Mutabilis. It isn't as fragrant as some of the flowering tobacco's I have had, but it's a very light, airy, and hearty one. Also taller and "cleaner". (Some of the nicotiana I have is very sticky, and when the flower fades, it hangs on the stem and doesn't look very nice.) The humminbgirds like it, and it also self seeds very nicely - not aggressive or invasive really. Easy to pull out if you don't want it. www.anniesannuals.com has a nice picture and description.

Will send for SASE or trade? I'd love some nice digitalis varieties, cosmos, anything cottage garden-like.

Let me know!

I have collected seed this year of a six foot tall cosmos orange. Would you like to trade for the cosmos?

Eureka, CA

YES! Sounds wonderful..... If you're not in the address exchange, send me a Dmail. I will send the nicotiana as soon as it's ready & dry! Thanks.!

Would you be interested in seeds of this Nicotiana? I don't know which type it is but it would look good in a cottage garden. It gets to be three to four feet tall.

Sorry for the delay in the response, Sandy..... I think it's the same variety of Nicotiana!! It looks the same.... we could swap though, for the fun of it, to see if so! Let me know if you want to. Otherwise, I'm about out, and will close the thread.
