I got this as a bonus from someone that I bought some plants from. I grow the common colocasia ensculenta and this one is rounder, wider, and much larger. Any clues?
which ear?
Lisa, it looks like the left one to me!!! LOL
'Tis a bit rounder, but it still looks typical of the C. esculenta; perhaps this is one is from some commercial (grown for food purposes) stock or has a more mature corm? I've noticed that my esculentas not only noticibly larger each year, but they also exaggerate certain leaf features more (or sometimes less) with age. All the same, there's a heck of a lot of variety within the plants that fall under the name "C. esculenta."
