I thought I got a real deal while out shopping yesterday, I believe it probably is a Tropical. All the tag said was Patio Performer Hibiscus. Maybe someone can tell it's name, I was really hoping to get a couple that I could keep in the ground but this does say on the tag to bring in if temps. drop below 50 so that went that. The only other Hibiscus I have is two Rose of Sharon Tree's and have wanted a Hibiscus for soooo long, and I think now I am hooked and need more. I did try to grow some from seed this last spring but not one came up but I don't have too much luck with starting from seed..
Thanks all
New Addition
beautiful, they are a great plant both the hardy and tropical
draging in trop. is a pain in my back ,but they are so pretty but over wintering is a pain
Thanks Tazzy, thats what I was afraid of, when I bought them I really didn't look very good at the tag and was hoping it was a hardy but still I couldn't pass up on the price under 5.00. It is still small so this winter it's still small enough and maybe soon I will have a greenhouse to put them in.
whow, I like so very pretty..Sounds interesting way to heat, but I am stilltrying to get hubby to build me a small one just to keep my plants in for winter since I don't have much space to bring them in.
