Sept garden

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

just a bunch of pictures of whats going on in my neck of the woods.

Inanda, don't look, there's brug pictures. ;)

This is a bloom spike on my bird of paradise. I'm amazed myself. I hope it blooms before I have to bring it in.

Love all your pics Linda but of course the pond really caught my eye. ;) Congratulations on your Bird of Paradise bud and the Peach Chiffon (I hope I'll see mine bloom this year).

Linda
Your photo's are super and I REALLY like the 4 legged one .
What a great name for a new buddy!! I'm thinking he will be soooo much fun. A new baby to join your home .. how are you even standing the wait?

I will look for the baby photo's. Please give him cuddles from me.

Linda-great pictures as always. Looks like things are really doing great in your yard again. And I'm sure Cooper will be a big sweetheart!!!
How did you get so many pods on your Snowbank??????? (Any chance of a couple of seeds-she says with a LARGE smile on her face!!!!!!!!) I have a datura with tons of flowers coming, so hope this good weather lasts. If I get any seed pods, you sure can have some seeds from that. Just what you want right? Another type of plant to start????
How is your pond doing? Looks so nice and clear. You have it on yoru deck if I remember correctly????
Great to hear from you.

Glenda

Thanks for the peak into your neck of the woods Linda. Of course you saved the best for last. The floral ones are lovely, but the puppies - Oooh my! I think that's a great name for your new family member too. So happy for you.

Great shot of the latest family member - at the chow wagon. I can just feel how soft he is through the film. How long have you had the peach chiffon - that is the one that (for me) has dropped every bud that had formed all summer.

Campbell River, BC(Zone 8a)

Nice pictures Linda. The puppies are so cute. You must be so excited. I hope I get to see Cooper. I think I'm going to be seeing a lot of one of his brothers so that'll be okay if I don't.

Your Bird of Paradise is going to bloom?!! How cool is that? I'm hoping for a bloom some day on mine. It's getting another new leaf so it's doing great but I'd sure love to have a bloom. I love your Peach Chiffon brug, even if the bloom isn't perfect it's beautiful

Sandy

Great pictures of your flowers Linda. Those puppies are so cute! The challenges of a puppy in the house are far outweighed by the joy and laughter he'll bring. Congrats.

CHILKO!! it's bloomed.

Here's the cactus that most of us got a piece from at the RU in April, in full glory. It opened today about noon.

I love your cactus Linda! It's great to see a different kind in flower - I don't think I've ever seen that type in flower before. Cooper is adorable! Can't wait to hear all about his first days adventures in his new home. --Ginny
