Jessie Noel at night

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

I saw that my Jessie Noel had 3 nice blooms tonight, so I thought I'd try and take a pic of them. I'm having so much fun with my digital camera; I think the night photo is so much nicer than a day one, as there isn't so much visible background "noise". This is only the 2nd time I've done a night photo.

Also the flowers are more "rampant" at night. I need a better term guys and my mind is blank.. perky seems so.. understated

Beautiful flowers, Anna

Great shot. It's quite difficult taking pictures at night. I also enjoy them at night and first thing in the morning. I feel this time of the day they are quite lavish looking.
There you go Laura how about Lavish?

So pretty Anna. I love Jesse Noel also. They perk up at night to get the moths to come visit so they get pollinated. Their fragrance is the bait. Then they want to be wide open with their wings back to show their pollen laden anthers. It is the come hither look.

Great pics too, Micheal.
