You don't mark your post new. It happens automaticaly when someone else posts to the thread....it's kind of like saying that someone has replyed to the post again.

Many of the new subscribers are always unsure of how DG works, so asking questions is the only way to learn how to navigate a new site. You should always ask, even if you think it's a stupid question. lol I'm still asking!!

On some forums, when you look at a thread that you've started, you'll see the option to close the thread. I think admin can also mark threads "closed."

There's a "Dave's Garden" forum where a lot of these questions may have been asked & answered, although I haven't always had the best luck with the search engine here.

I asked that question and one of the Admin people answered but I can't find it now. You can only close a couple on your own, and one of those is the ID forum. The other must be trading, as I see that popping up.
