what is the difference

I apologize for asking this question. What is the difference between a datura and brugmansias? They look so similar.

The main difference between datura and brugmansia is that datura is an annual herbaceous plant (doesn't produce wood) and the flowers face up; brugmansia is a perennial bush or tree and the flowers hang down

And the brugmansia is much larger.. I saw my first Datura and the leaves were different.. not as substantial as a brug.. hard to explain unless you see them both in person
