Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

These are outside my bedroom and all just popped into bloom on Tuesday. It smells just heavenly when I go in the bedroom at night.

Wow.. how gorgeous!! And you live in Wisconsin?? I guess there is hope for large brugs for us northerners yet!

jazzpunkin, I have a greenhouse. I just hack them back and end up hacking again at least once during the winter, sometimes twice. I am tempted to let one of these grow this winter and see how huge it would get.

Toronto, ON(Zone 6a)

They are wonderful to look at Anna! I take it that you take them indoors during the winter, correct?

cdplayer, yes I do. Those 3 big plants are 5 years old.

Thank you for your kind words, everyone. Makes all the work a person has to do caring for them worth it. The look just gorgeous from the road, but I doubt than anyone really looks and sees them.

Beautiful Anna!!
What a pleasant way to go to bed at night. I guess you have Sweet Dreams....LOL

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

What a lovely sight to see!

And they still smell so luscious in the morning when I get up. But, it will not last long, as some of the first blooms are starting to fade. I"m just hoping that I'll get another flush before it freezes, but I"m not going to hold my breath.

Anna_Z-Beautiful Brugs!!!! I see you have them in a pot. Do you follow Monikas pot in a pot type of planting? I am in zone 8A and have them in the ground, then cut them back in winter. One I just put into a pot.
I'm kind of new at this............

Portland, OR(Zone 8b)

Look at all of those blooms! Do you know which variety(s) they are?

Monroe, WI(Zone 4b)

No, they are just in 1 pot. The one in the left hand corner is in a 22 inch pot, the other 2 are 20 inch. They are just a plain old peach color that I bought as small cuttings at a garden center. 1 was sposed to be peach, one yellow, and one pink. Hah!!!!! Look what I got....all the same. I was NOT a happy camper when they started blooming and they were all the same.
