I need to desperately thin my water lilies. The only one I have is a 'strawn' (yellow). I would be happy to send for postage. I will cut back most all the pads because they are heavy. I will put several in one box. Can do flat rate box or smaller box. I hate to throw them in the compost. Tanarae
Forgot to mention that these are hardy lilies and medium to large size pads. Thanks

Tanarae
You can send me as much as you want to send ......but your box will be overloaded....LOL
Kaleem
Okay Kaleem, I will fix you up and see if there is something else I can put in there to go with it. Maybe a clematis or something, Okay. Tanarae
Thank you so much. Have you received the other parcel from Post office?
Kaleem
No I am working and will not get home in time today as they close at 4pm. So tomorrow I will have my husband go and pick it up for me since he is off work. I really hate to have to wait. I am excited about getting it so much. Tanarae
Hello Tanarae,
I'm interested in what you can send, if any are left. This year my lily didn't grow as much so I battled green water more because of the lack of shade. If you decide to send any, let me know how much postage to send you. My zip is 46733. Thanks,
Gemila
Tana! 'Ole buddy, 'ole pal!!!

I would love any if they were hardy to zone 6.
Dave
Sorry folks I could not get on Daves last nite on my home computer for some reason. Could get everwhere else but not here. Does'nt make sense to me. I have plenty of lilies and they are hardy to zone 4 from what I understand so will be happy to share with all of you. Hi Gail. Sent you a message at the ranch. Please dmail me with your addys and I will get the boxes packed up on sunday nite. Please let me know in your dmail if you want a 3.85 box or a flat rate box 7.70 I think. Thanks Tanarae
Any links to this 'strawn'? I've heard of a hybridizer by that name, is this one of his progeny?
The original plant came from lilypons and I think they have it listed on thier site.
the same place up the road from me??
Check out www.lilypons.com and look under hardy waterlilies "Charlene Strawn". Thats the lily
Okay, I thought that was the one you were talking about! And yeahm that *is* the place right up the road from me! :o)
right up the road from you really. My girlfriend here ordered it and shared with me a couple years ago and man does it reproduce. So I am guessing you are still wanting some right. Tanarae
if you have any left I'd love to have one. I checked and they're hardy to zone 3. I only have a pink...
Dorothy
Sure Dorothy last time I divided I had 45-40 of em so I think I will have plenty. LOL you are more than welcome to one. Please dmail me your addy and I will pack on sunday nite and mail on monday. Thanks Tanarae
Hello Jackieshar, I would be happy to just make a trade if you like. My addy is in the daves book or do you need me to send it? Just dmail me with your addy and I will get you a nice box out on monday morning. Thanks Tanarae. Are the datura hardy in your zone? I am in the same zone.
Closed, I don't have any more available unless Jackieshar doesn't want to trade. Thanks Tanarae
I do want to trade..have lots ready of the seed for the white datura metel.........the seed for the yellow or purple are not quite ripe yet.....another couple of weeks will do it......darura dont overwinter as such........I cut them down in early winter and sometimes they come back from the plant.......otherwise......they come up from seed really easy.....some of my whites were just dropped on the ground.........this year is my first with the yellows and purples...I dont know that they won't do the same..I thought to start some in seed trays in late winter just to make sure

A big public THANK YOU from me too!! Wonderful plants and packing!!
Dorothy
I too received large and healthy waterlilies that were packed extremely well. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Tanarae, may God bless you for you kindness.
P.S. I remembered to leave you a positive feedback
Gemila
I have to echo the above! Thanks a MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys are all too sweet! Thanks and I hope you all enjoy them and this time next year you will be trying to get rid of a batch of them your self, Teeheehee. Enjoy! Tanarae
Just a note to let you know that they are very prolific! They reproduce like crazy. I divide 2 times a year and generally have 34-40 plants to share. Most are nice sized plants as well.

You're tops in my book, GF!! (Well, you and Nancy.....). There were PLENTY for me to share with DD and roommates. Haven't seen them in their pond yet, but I'm going by there today so I can't wait to see how they look!! Mine just made themselves right at home!!
Gail
Oh good Gail, glad yours are comfy and you had enough to share. Tell Nancy hello from me and I hope she is feeling better. Hope DD's are doing well too. Tanarae
