CLOSED: Pandora's Box, Forever Stella, Little Wart

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

All available for trade only, none for postage. Will trade for named, either eyed, edged, double or spider daylilies. Tell me what you have and I'll check them out. PLEASE: double fans only. I'm much too old to sit around waiting to see 10 flowers blooming on a single fan of anything.

I also have various Tets and many other diploids. Name your color or by name and I'll respond after I check out the choices you've given me. Thanks.

Hey Arlene, what's the difference between Forever Stella and Stella Doro? I have lots of D'oros, but no Forevers.

I bought it from a place that sold both and both at the same price. They said Forever Stella was a better plant and I was too naive to ask why. Quite a few of them are in bloom again, but then so are a neighbor's Stella D'oro's.

Sorry, Nancy, I wish I could have given you a better reason but I can't.

Hi Mainerose -

Before I go looking at these (some of which I have) I'd like to know the size of what you'd be sending.

The three I mentioned are fast growers but their fans are not big ones.

Arlene

Milo, ME(Zone 4a)

some are big fans some are not
But if you tell me ones you would love to have in your garden I can go check to make sure -Or send you pictures if this helps you in out trade.God bless you this sunday yours Robin

pirl,I had never heard of 'Little Wart' & had to look it up & was was quite surprise at it's beauty & fragrant to boot. The reason I looked it up-here we always refer to people that bother us as "warts"-but your 'Little Wart' daylily is one "wart",I wouldn't mind having :) Didn't mean to hijack your post-hope you forgive me.

Maineroses: still have to look up your offerings. I was out there for five hours moving plants and finally that particular week long job is done.

Christmascactus: You don't have to apologize. Just let me know what you have extra double fans of (nice fat ones). Little Wart was King Richard's nickname as a child. Now these fans are tiny so I can send you twenty of them, without a problem for two different dayliles, both double fans.

Maineroses: I hate to keep you waiting but we have a political meeting to go to and then to donate daylily plants to someone.

I'll get back to you tonight, after 8.

Hi!

It will be tomorrow night for certain. Mammagraphy tomorrow and food and clothes shopping as we leave for vacation the end of the month and I still have trades to get out.

I'm sorry, Maineroses, but either I have the plants, or they're too short (Siloam), or yellow or red eyed, which I have enough of. I also have plentiful amounts of lavender and Fellow, which is a lot like your Jungle Princess.

Milo, ME(Zone 4a)

That is fine pirl thanks for letting me know nite robin
