CLOSED: CLOSED: Jack-in-the-Pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum)

Bridgewater, MA(Zone 6b)

I have two extra packets of Jack-in-the-Pulpit seeds for trade or SASBE. The seeds are fairly large, about the size of popcorn kernals, and I have enough seeds for two packets of about 15 seeds. These seeds are from Jacks growing wild in Massachusetts, and their flowers are highly variable, from green with white stripes to dark purple. I've already cleaned the seeds from their berries, and they require no cold treatment. They are relatively easy to germinate. It usually takes two to three years to get a flower.

If you'd like to trade, I am open to seeds of any kind, annual or perennial, except for snapdragons, portulacas, and marigolds, which I have plenty of. I like Salpiglossis and Poppies, but I'm open to just about anything.

Thanks, Twyla! I will send yours and Brenda's seeds out tomorrow. Fang, yours will go out probably on the weekend.

Also, I am reopening this thread because I had a successful Jack-in-the-Pulpit hunt out in the woods today, and I now have enough for two more trades. These seeds need to be cleaned, but I will do that tomorrow and have them ready to mail on the weekend.
