Gloriosa lily

Last year I lost my plants because I tried in shaded area but this year have two plants and full of blooms.

Thank you, yes this is orange and yellow specie, this year I sowed seeds of red and yellow also but only one seed is germinated.

Kaleem, I think you have a different kind of gloriosa than I have. Yours has more orange color and more reflexed petals - the foliage looks a bit different too. I have seen references to "Gloriosa superba" and "Gloriosa rothschildiana" but I am not sure about the differences as I have seen conflicting descriptions and pictures.

Edited to add: I wish I had one that looks like yours - I really like it! Have not seen one quite like that here.

Kaleem, you may need to pollinate the flowers to get more seeds to form. The flowers don't usually self-pollinate as the end of the pistil points away from the anthers. You should be able to use your fingertip to transfer some pollen. Here's a picture of one of my flowers to show the anthers and pistil:

Thank you for the tips, Just watched my plant and only one seed pod is there, I will do the same and try to increase the sed pods.
You bloom is fantastic, I love this color.
