does anybody grow caladium bicolor rubidundum?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

I will greatly appreciate your sharing your experience with these plants. thanks

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

I have two plants of it...doesn't color up till the leaves get big later in summer, haven't had them over a winter yet but will keep them growing overwinter indoors.(greenhouse)

Louisville, KY

This is a great plant but I found it has very different growing habits than most caladiums. It tends to grow well as a aquatic during the growing season in bright shade and warm water temps. During the winter keep dry like most caladiums. Growing them this way you will get some amazing plants. When I first saw this plant years ago at Selby Botanical gardens I thought it was a Colocasia. 6ft tall with 2ft around leaves. Possible one of the most beautiful plants I have ever seen. But it is a bit difficult to get them to this impressive size they are not like others that you just throw in the dirt. Here is a old pic of the plant I am talking about.
