I just purchased a few African violets from Kroger. They are having a wonderful sale today of them. Here are a few pictures. I don't know the names of them.

this one is pink with purple spots all over it. I will try to get a better pic.

I love this soft pink with var, leaves.

This leaves are speckled with green and lighter green. The flower are pansy like Bloom with white center with purple edges. Bottom petals are purple. I had to have this one too.LOL

lol.... stretching the definition of the word "few" here. Last I checked, 13 was a baker's dozen. LOL. They're nice! Look healthy too. I especially like the one you posted at 3:18.

me too -- love the variegation of the foliage on the 3:18 one! That first one with the blue pinwheel blossoms looked quite striking, too.

That was quite a haul! I love that you ended up with such a great variety. I hope they'll be so grateful to be at your house rather than at Kroger's that they just bloom unceasingly for you!

Ha! 3:18= 12:18 here. :) Yes, I liked that one too! My post crossed with another picture, so mine makes no sense when I referred to the "last one" with variegation, that has no vareigation. Hehe.

Hello today is my b-day and guess what i found at home depot that right avs One av varigated leaves pretty PAid 2.27 a plant happy b-day to me. I've been looking all round and I had to find them today now that is carma or luck !!!!!!!!!.IF I buy one of those small floresrent hang under the cabinet will it be good enough for now?????........

Happy birthday sassygranng!! And congratulations on your find-- and a variegated one, at that! I don't know about the light. I just put mine in a windowsill. Maybe someone else can answer that. :)
