CLOSED: Clivia for trade only

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I have a huge Clivia: many years old. I'd trade for named triple fans (more than one plant) of my choice of your eyed or edged or spider or gold ruffled, etc. daylily. Tempt me.

Would happily trade for some Japanese irises that I don't have!

Hi Pirl,
I went to Plant Files and that's such a beautiful plant. I really like it. Does it do well in heat ?
I'm too new to DL to have anything ready to trade. I do have Brugmansias in several colors if you would consider that. I also have 3 baby "Century" plants that I seperated from the mother plant yesterday.
If you decide to do for postage please consider me, I'd be happy to do something extra for your time and effort, seeing how gas has risen so quickly lately.
God bless,
Margo

Margo,

I appreciate your offer but maybe by next spring you'll have something to trade for it that I adore. In the meantime it can stay on my porch as it has for ten years now. I'm not in any great rush. If you find something you didn't think you had please let me know but not houseplants. They're what I want to reduce in number.

I have no idea how well it would do in SC. Maybe a nursery could tell you.

LOL, I'm not great with houseplants. I am slowing getting rid of mine also...either by "loving" them too much or giving them to friends.
I am so grateful my Brugs love to be loved ...hahaha :)
Have a great weekend :)

Thank you so very much Kaleem ! I am in Zone 8 so I would need to Winter it in the greenhouse, which is fine.
That was very kind of you to look up for me :))

Hey Pirl,

How about 3 fans of one of these?
Lin Wright
Saucy Temper
No Regrets (Morss, '94)
Little Romance
Joan Senior
Washington Park
Eggplant Escapade
Princeton Point Lace or
Persian Pattern

Leslie (LOL)

Leslie to the rescue!

Please give me some time to look them up. On a nice rainy day it's a thrill for me as I await the arrival of 'Charming Charlie'.

I'll take a photo of the clivia later: it's huge.

Arlene
