Such a sad sight Mary. Looks like some brugs might be salvageable? At least your house is pretty much intact?

Feel for you! It was terrible.

Mary, I can see that you have much cleanup work to do. I hope that most of the plants you will be able to salvage. Katrina was such a destructive hurricane and while you have probably lost some things and have many days of work ahead of you, I am happy that you did not loose your entire home and everything in it. This has truly been so sad and I will pray for strength for you to get through this. If there is any way I can help you, let me know.

Mary I know how you feel. My place got hit twice like that last year. A lot of clean up. We were lucky people around us lost parts of their roofs but ours was okay. You start the work outside and there is no electricity to come in to and cool yourself off. Nobody else has power or AC and the workplace gets a little snappy with employees coming in living with no showers or AC.

I am glad you are all safe and in the middle of it all you found a home for the poor lost Mattie.

I totally feel for you. Looks like you have a pile of cleaning up. Your roof even looks like it has been tore up. My Heart goes out to and to your family.

I know it sounds bad to say that I'm happy for you, but I mean it in the best sense of the words. It could have been so much worse. I've watched hours and hours of the hurricane coverage and you are very lucky. Hang in there. I'm glad you are okay.
