Finally some blooms

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

This has been the hardest summer so far for growing brugs for me. It was exceptionally hot most of the summer and I have fought spider mites, not on just a couple brugs. But on all 90 or so I have in pots and in the ground. I don't think I will try to grow so many next year. Here is my first two blooms on B. susanne. I thought she would be darker.

My Susanne was darker, her first flush, I'm waiting on the second. My Tiara has not bloomed, tap, tap, tap. Is Tiara fragrant??

Yes, my B. tiara is fragrant. The picture didn't really pick up the color. It blooms out white and then turns a nice peach color.

At this point, I'm looking for fragrance, which many bloomers, in my zone, lack. I'm so glad she is fragrant, and I sincerely hope she blooms this season, if not, she is history. Thanks!!!
