CLOSED: HAVE: Last Chance for Named Elephant Ears

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

I have several elephant ears for trade, but I am looking only for other ee's I don't have as well as exotic daylilies I don't have. In daylilies, I like bold eyes, pinks, purples, peaches, and whites, doubles, picoteed, braided edges, ruffly, rebloomers especially, any height. I like something that catches your attention from across the yard.

Besides the usual giant colocasa esculenta and the running elephant ears, I have these:

Wentii

An unusual Xanthosoma which MIGHT be Excalibur. I'm waiting on an ee collector to let me know what she thinks. It has pink-bronze leaves and striped and spotted stems.

I wish I had something to entice you w/ (but don't). The wentii is mighty fine. pretty pricey in my area.

I will also trade for rare cannas. You can check my member page here:

That will show you what all I already have. Please understand that nothing on that list is for trade unless I've listed here or on my trade list. Many plants are new, just acquired them this season. But that lets you know what I already have.

Thank you for looking!

Hi Vossner, yeah, they were pretty pricey here too, $25! But our lowes did a clearance on the tropicals last week, and I got 28 pots of ee's for $1 per pot if I'd buy them all. Doesn't that just make ya sick? I scarfed them all up! I got 4 pots of wentii (with two plants in each pot), quite a few full pots of fallax, several full pots of the unknown Xanth, 3 pots of Amazonica with 2 in each pot, and a couple pots each of the Black Magic and Illustris. I love my Lowes!

$25 is right! wow you did great. This year for some reason the 2-3 Lowes I usually visit have not had much in the way of deals. booh.

Well, voss, you may just have to be-bop up here. But I warn ya, I got both my elbows out, and I'm a hefty determined old gal. You gotta have some strength to elbow me outta the way! LOL

I'm closing this thread. I'm much to busy to be doing any trading right now. I'm working with the hurricane disaster center here and am trying to get my home ready to take in some of the victims of the flooding. So I just don't have time to wrap and pack right now. Sorry folks!
