That's what I thought.
I saw lots of butterflies in the yard this weekend.

I have gobs of gulf frit cats, chrysalises and butterflies around my yard...these must lay a gazillion eggs daily!

...and this one shows the underside of the wings. Lots of gorgeous silver markings. This photo also shows the pinkish salmon and orange coloring under the forewings.

I usually have gobs of Gulf frits too, but haven't seen hardly any this year, no cats eating my passion vines either. I don't use chemicals, don't know why they're staying away.

Geez...mine poor passiflora looks like it went through a shredder!
There's a cat in the background of the first photo I'd posted...but here's a nice close up photo of one of the shredders :o)
