Thank you everyone for this warm welcome. I finally found my way over here to this Forum.
I'm looking forward to learning much more about gardening.
By the way, the name is from an old type of short wave radio.

Hi Greg, Glad to see you sign your name. I like to address whoever I am responding to and having your name makes it so much easier than trying to remember "hallicrafters99." Yikes

The frog was caught by my step daughter late last month when we were at the cottage up in Burk's Falls. I didn't realize that the kids brought this little fella into the house until I heard giggling and then shrieking coming from the bathroom. Well all 4 kids and a frog in the tub...had to take a pic of him for our memory book, lol. Here are the fab four:

Hi from Cambridge!!!!!!
Hey Guys,
Thanks for the recent replies. Looking forward to talking to most of you in the future when I know what I am doing on this system. Actually, I'm getting better at this - with the exception of keeping track of trading seeds. I have to remember that I'm over the age of uh, 29? and have to write things down all the time.
Just returned from a few days vacation on Manitoulin Island where we managed to get some milkweed pods and some canalily pods. So more things for the back yard.
Also, a friend of our daughter is taking courses on landscaping and has promised us to come up with a design for our back yard. More digging and planting next year.
Talk to you all later.
Greg

Hello Greg,
Welcome to DG! This site & community has a lot to offer. Beware - surfing DG can get addictive, especially during the cold winter months! :-)
Interesting to know that you're from Kitchener. I'm going to be there as well for three days at the end of Oct, for a course run by the Ontario Museum Association. It's at a place called "Doon Heritage Crossroads" - ? I've never been to Kitchener before but it has always struck me as an interesting place.
Looking forward to hearing about your garden in the days to come!
