CLOSED: HAVE: Sweet William Dianthus for SASE

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

I really have a ton of these. I can probably send 30 people seeds from what I have. Here are some pictures of how they bloomed this year. Remember they are biannuals so they need to be planted now, wintered over (I did mine outside last year and they were great) and then they bloom like crazy and self seed if you want them to. Boy do they!!! All the seeds got mixed together so I can't separate them out to the colors you see in the pictures.

And they smell delightful! I am going to be sure to keep planting these. I have my plants I started this year ready to overwinter so I can have these beautiful flowers again in the spring. Thought you might like a picture of the bee too. LOL

Good morning,

I would like some of those seeds please.
Can you tell me how much postage is needed to send to Canada?

Greg

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Not sure really. Send me a sase. However much it costs to send that to me should be sufficient to put on the sase. I think.

San Jose, CA

I'd love some of these too. Do you want an envelope or a bubble envelope?

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

lilystorm: a plain envelope with 37 cents should do it.
Susan

San Jose, CA

Thanks. I'm sending out the SASE today.

Kitchener, ON(Zone 5b)

Susan,

Sent an envelope off to you today with enough to cover the postage.

Greg

Sultan, WA(Zone 8a)

sending an SASE too!

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Still lots left. Anyone else want some?

Chickamauga, GA(Zone 7a)

I would like some but is it something that can stay out all year? or do you have to bring them in? I dont have alot of room to bring stuff in.

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Yes, it can stay out all year. In fact, it is a biannual. So you start them now, they winter over and bloom next year. Or if you start them in the spring, I think they bloom the next year. I seem to remember mine blooming a little bit the first year, but that was two years ago, and my memory is awful so there you go. LOL
I had mine in a pot last year and I didn't remember what it was. I said this stuff is great, stayed green all winter and we were cold. Looked a little ragged by spring but then it bloomed like those pics above. Beautiful!
I'll put your name down on the list.

Maybe I've been lucky,
but mine come back better and better every year.
Mine re-seed well. You guys will love them,I have mine mixed in my wildflower garden, they bloom in the spring.Maybe I should cut off the blooms, yours seem to be blooming still.I also haven't watered any of my wildflower garden this year, affraid my well will go dry.I haven't watered my veggie's either so it has been a almost fruitless year.Enough blabbering on your thread.Sorry,Jody

Susan, do you still have any seeds left for SASE? They sound so lovely, and sound like they'd grow just great way down south in GA. I would greatly appreciate it. I don't have anything to trade ... if you'll take SASE. Thanks, so much. I'm not in the addi, though, so if you still have some, please send me your info by Dmail. Thanks! ... Elaine
